Hello all you super human/cool coders.

I have two questions.

Dose anyone know whare to fine tutorials on how to program ATA, SATA, ATAPI Drives?

And Also...

Dose anyone know whare I can find a good 32/64-bit C compiler?

Both of these will be needed in my OS.

I greatly appreciate any help everyone could give.

Thanks

Well this you can find yourself in a 5 minutes Google search...

IMHO It is imposible to work on OS development without very good search skills and a distinct ability to understand very complicated and obfuscated things on your own....

Oh well, here you are:

Fine C compilers:
=================
-gcc
-Peles C

ATA / ATAPI tutorials:
====================
http://www.ata-atapi.com/

Aprently you have never read Intel i810 specifications or UHCI/ EHCI USB specifications.

And aparently i should start writting some tutorials Very Happy

There may be a few other items needed to construct your own os!
