Hi, to all!
I'm learning assembly using FASM and decided to start with DOS. I'm trying to make a program to send and receive characters throught the serial port using a null modem cable connected to another pc with the same program. I've read the forum DOS faq but didn't help.. With what I have done so far I can send a char but I get error when receiving it. I'm doing this using BIOS functions and manually polling the COM port just for testing purposes. I would like to do it with interrupt-driven I/O, but I don't know much about this. Does anyone know a DOS working sample or something to start with? I've attached what I've done so far. Can someone please help me?
