When I started assembly long time ago (but don't think that I'm old now):
I poked around http://flatassembler.net/examples.php and those that come with the Windows's installation package. By constantly changing instructions and assemblying I learned my way up to get a fast start. If I needed any code that I didn't know how to write, I lurked around others' codes and seach for my byte-sequences ![]() ![]() It is a known fact that with 10% of knowledge, you can do 90% of the stuff you need to do (sorry, its a raw translation from Estonian - maybe you have some cleverer sentences for that), thus you can do a lot by only knowing a little ![]() The learning curve isn't so steep and you won't get frustrated. The missing parts of your knowledge you gain by lots of coding. Make some goals like learn a new instruction per day or something ![]() The game-idea is great and I know that I could do it, but because I don't have much time, I can only wish you good luck and happy coding ![]() Madis PS. You ARE LOOKING at the walkthroughs ![]() http://flatassembler.net/docs.php |
