only when line changes, but whole thing isn't so simple. There is buffer that holds number of "prerendered" lines, (more than user can see on screen), so for example scrolling one line down doesn't require calling syntax proc.
This is based on my studies over AsmEdit Wink so I may be wrong somewhere but it seems that this is how it works.

I'm powering fasm_syntax proc.
Now it recognize labels....I'm going to expand the possibility by recognizing proc, equ, lib call.....
for now the purpose is only for different colors....now labels are purple....
in the future there will be also popup for equ values and so on...if you like I can post the .exe....
