Whats the diffrence between file i/o using Dos and Bios?? What do high level language use for file i/o dosbios or anything??

Im missing a lot. I shoulda started programming in assembly long time ago. Sad

bios doesn't know about any files. it doesn't have any kind of filesystem, doesn't have file handling routines etc. it's BASIC-INPUT-OUTPUT-SYSTEM, it is purposed for hardware abstraction (but doesn't work very good as that nowadays...)
