hi
I am trying to write program witch copy disc sector by sector in c++. It has to work under dos. I am begginer but i think that i have to use asembler to read sectors. I've read sth about int 13h, and i know that normal interrupt can't manade with disc over 8.4Gb. Can anyone help me how to use INT 13 h Extended. I try to get hard disc parametrs at the begginig- it is neccesary or I can start from reading sectors?? i will be very grateful for some help, esspencialy links to code that reads sectors from disc (in my case 160GB or 15Gb). What is syntax of int 13h, with ah=42h, how should i write this to do it properly.
