Because of some reasons, version 1.0.0B is skipped, so here is the next release with big changes in the project structure. Now all visual component palettes are not embeded in the Fresh, but in separate files.
Note the version of FASMW must be 1.49.9 or newer.

Regards.

[EDIT] Outdated attachement removed. [/EDIT]

Great work, John! Very Happy Especially I like that now components are placed on palettes.

Here are my notes and suggestions about Fresh in current stage:
1. Small bug with source editor: when you close it, then create new source file, and then show source editor, newly created asmedit won't fit in the window, it will be smaller. IMHO creating new source file should make source editor visible anyway.
2. When you open Fresh, and without typing anything into sourceeditor you use function Comment, Uncomment, Indent or Outdent - Fresh crashes.
3. IMO new section for unitialized data should be created - the executable should be smaller then.

That was the important part Smile

4. Why do you keep palettes in *.com files? When I see a com file my brain tells me "run it now!" Very HappyVery HappyVery Happy

and you will have to think about some icons for find and replace functions - I don't have any artist imagination heheh Very Happy

regards

Hi, decard.
Thank you for bug reports, I will fix them all.
About .com, it's simply because FASM compiles plain binary files with .com extension. It is more simple to use default extension, than to rename every file FASM create. Think of .com as of "component" and all will be OK. Smile

Regards.

JohnFound, maybe this could cause confussion, because there are some extensions that have gained a "personality" of their own.
(and Windows will create confussion with them, helped by other annoyances such an antivirus software)

(my 2 cents)

John,

You're changing Fres to make it use your data macros. As it will involve many changes in entire project, can you post it when it will be done, even before any other changes/updates to the project (somethilg like 1.0.0C++ Very Happy )? It will make me easy to synchronize my work with next wersion, I will be able to add my stuff without any need to modify it. Hope I was clear enough in this post Smile

btw, in near future we could think about some cvs for Fresh... Maybe we don't really need it (at least by now) but it would be quite interesting to learn how to use this system Very HappyVery Happy
