Fresh crashes every time I try to compile at Offset: 000010c3. I just reinstalled XP so I haven't upgraded to sp2 yet.

Yes. It goes through preprocessing and when it comes to parsing it crashes. Fasm works as it should though. Tell me what information you need and I'll try get it for you. |

Strange, I tested it on WinXP without service packs, and it has compiled everything fine. So I can't really reproduce your crash.
Are you sure you have downloaded latest Fresh release (v1.1.F)? If you still have this problem, please download this file: http://decard.net/fresh_test.zip. This archive contains two Fresh executables. Copy them to your Fresh directory. Try to use them to compile your files, and write here if any of these executables work. I know that it is quite primitive method, but, as I wrote, Fresh didn't crash on any computer that I tried. Also, write what is your hardware configuration (processor, how many mbytes of ram...). |

Fresh_no_cc doesn't collect symbols, so simply code completion is disabled in this version (cc is code completion of course).
So now I know where the problem is. |

hi d0z, u don't have to make the CD.
copy ur xp cd files into a directory eg. d:/winxp download the xp sp2 from internet slipstream the sp2 with ur d:/winxp files format c:/q smartdrv cd d:/winxp/i386 winnt and u would get winxp with sp2 install from hard disk is more faster than CD :p |

It is indeed but I only have a 4GB large partition for Windows, and the rest of my huge(10GB) HD are dedicated to BeOS. I only use Windows for programming. If I get a larger HD in the future I'll keep slipstreaming in mind. |
