I'm now at about 800 kb and therefore your animation is downloaded quickly, BUT it entices too much. When I read the discussion, I need to stick to the text, not to some (even nice) animation.

hi, RedGhost.
Your sig is pretty nice, but it sufficiently slowing down my pc responce when i'm reading threads with your posts (i'm using c300). could you simplify it? btw, about traffic: we have 1k inet traffic for ~50 pcs at work.

thanks in advance.

you and maze are probably the only persons to give a constructive reason besides "omg i hate sigs", so i will remove it, i should have assumed asm programmers would be on a diverse number of processors some which would be older and slow, but really you people need to move past 56k, i did 6 years ago Smile

sig removed for the few people who said intelligent things not the ones being dicks and flamming me to questions in private messages

There are still some places where alternatives (dsl, T1, cable, fiber, satellite) are too costly or not availible. (I have both dialup and dsl connections; the dialup is very handy to have when on the road as I can't always find a place to connect to a highspeed network)

I wish I could get 56K at home!!

24K max right now, but DSL is coming, I hope. So when I open up all the unread post in multiple tabs in FireFox, I see "Loading" for 3 minutes waitin for "My Sig:)" to load. Not necessary, thanks for removing!!

RedGhost,

It's not Mississippi, it's where I choose to live here. Very far out in the country. Phone lines have not been upgraded in 20 years, but my constant begging/complaining has finally convinced the phone company to make DSL available: "Real Soon Now"

I hope Exclamation
