I was doing this two or three years ago - I used TurboDebugger then. I remember I bought some magazine with CD that contained TASM and TD. Maybe you could download it somewhere for free...

vid - you can find a link to TurboDebugger here http://www.borland.com/downloads/download_cbuilder.html

Turbodebugger is at the bottom of the page. You have to register, but the software is free!

i had downloaded it - it is 32-bit only. grdb was recommended somewhere in this forum as free 16-bit debugger.

vid - you might try CodeView (necessary files attached). Documentation can be found at http://tinyurl.com/dpqq7

Link to GRDB (shoorick's recommendation) can be found here

Good luck

It runs under Win XP Home SP2, at least. See this thread:
http://board.flatassembler.net/topic.php?t=3871&start=0

BTW, always go to the official GRDB website to get the most recent (7.4 as of Jan 2006):

http://ladsoft.tripod.com/grdb.htm

Don't even think about CodeView: it's not worth it!
