hi! i just went to convert my ascii to float function from masm to fasm, but fasm stops on single fdiv says: "invalid operand", and if i comment it then stops on single fmul opcode:
Quote:
flat assembler version 1.64
C:\projects\fpu2\a2f.inc [130]:
fmul
error: invalid operand.

adding operands as "st1" do not solving problem...
???

Just like the Intel manual says, only popping operations like "faddp" or "fmulp" have the variant without any operands - "fmulp" does the same as "fmulp st1,st0". Some assembler use the "fmul" in the same meaning as "fmulp" here, but fasm follows the Intel manuals in aspect that "fmul" is always a non-popping instruction.
