yes, in my opinion you can learn FASM using NASM tutorials, or even MASM. Thing is that you are not learning FASM, FASM's syntax for what you need to learn is quite simple. You are learning assembly, and assembly is same regardless of syntax.
I suggest you using tutorials which don't use macros and HLL features (like .if commands etc.). You can also try my tutorial, not much in it yet, but i think it already cover ideas which will help you understand assembly the "assembly way" (you'll find out what i mean later). whoa thanx, i see, i learned a lil Masm, also i used hla which i did learn alot but unfortunatly i've forgotten most of it, and i didn't learn the keywords(movzx i think it is, etc properly, because of issues with my gf).
but great to see a reference, and at least nasm is close to fasm, and obviously is asm, so i can see in effect how programs are written in asm. anywas times to go try this stuff out. _________________ Regards Damnation |
