Hi all,

When I typed in Sulaiman Chang's version Iczelion's
A Simple Window I got a few errors,

First was: include '%fasminc%\win32a.inc'
which I fixed with: include '%include%\win32a.inc'

Next was a return which I fixed with ret and
now another problem,

X Error: undefined symbol
instruction:
call[LoadCursor]
source:
SimpleWindow.ASM [29]
proc32.inc [20]

I tracked proc32.inc to c:\fasmw\include\MACRO
which didn't contain any LoadCursor.

It tried replacing it from the TEMPLATE found
in the EXAMPLES folder without success?

; invoke LoadCursor, NULL, IDC_ARROW
invoke LoadCursor,0,IDC_ARROW

The TEMPLATE example does compile and run ok.

Any suggestions?

Regards,
John Casey

change the line:
Code:
'%include%\win32a.inc'

to
Code:
'%include%\win32ax.inc'

and recompile

Thanks guys,

It is working now. Apart from a need to change %fasminc% to %include%
and return to ret, the only problem was a typo. I left out the line in the
section '.idata' containing the LoadCursor! I typed the source in with
the idea that I was learning better that way instead of a simple cut, paste.

Regards,

John
