Whatever application that is created by any programming language could be done with fasm.

Hi, fasm9.
I have one application written on fasm, inculcated in the plant where I am working. So, it is for machine control and I don't think it will be interesting for many people.
Just now, I am writing a few applications on fasm:

1. Visual resource editor for fasm.
2. Dos IDE for OS development.
3. Porting the new version of my shareware program SpaceGlyph from Delphi to fasm.

Unfortunately, I have no free time, so the work goes slow Sad

Hi,
if we know everything about electronics, computer, software,
we can build fasm more easy to understand, more graphical, imo.

once graphical fasm built, then the speed of developing fasm or other applications are blindly fast!

I am using FASM as a backend to my OmniBasic compiler.

The compiler is written in itself (just as FASM is) and so the compiler itself is compiled with OmniBasic and subsequently assmembled with FASM.

The compiler exe is a little over 200K. It will grow some when the GUI part is finished.

The earlier version which used a c backend was well over 400k. With GUI extions, it was almost 700k.

That speaks well for the efficiency of asm over c.
