Hi,
if we know everything about electronics, computer, software, we can build fasm more easy to understand, more graphical, imo. once graphical fasm built, then the speed of developing fasm or other applications are blindly fast! Last edited by fasm9 on 30 Jun 2003, 04:13; edited 2 times in total |

I am using FASM as a backend to my OmniBasic compiler.
The compiler is written in itself (just as FASM is) and so the compiler itself is compiled with OmniBasic and subsequently assmembled with FASM. The compiler exe is a little over 200K. It will grow some when the GUI part is finished. The earlier version which used a c backend was well over 400k. With GUI extions, it was almost 700k. That speaks well for the efficiency of asm over c. |
