Hi, I wrote a 32-Bit Compiler in VB and using fasm (assembled tiny snippets). And here is the result. There is much to improve. Also you are allowed to do 'inline fasm' but you need to install the DOS version of fasm Wink.

To test inline fasm:
Start Libry > Menu -> Extras -> Specify FASM Path..
-> write fasm path without exename but with trailing slash
-> Menu File -> Open -> InlineAssembler.lbr
-> Menu Run -> Link & Run..

Wink

It would be glad if you can test this a little bit and tell me bugs.
This compiler is open source and written in Visual Basic 6.

You can get it from here:

If you see this as an advertisment please delete it. It isn't meant to.

Hi Kinex,

Very impressive work, congratulations.

Will your compiler support MS COFF object files?

Sorry for the late reply, thanks for the comments!
Hmm.. yes maybe it's true about the <title> tags on my webpage. Have to fix this. Also the SP for VB6 is a good link I think I will add this to my page. Could never find it on the MS page.. In fact I can't find anything there Wink
About MS COFF I have to look at the format I saw a link here to a resource (there were all formats listed like WIN-EXE, ELF) but I cannot find it anymore. I thought it was in the windows section faq but I looked again and couldn't find it. I will search again for it and tell you if it is possible.

Thanks and Regards,
Kinex

When searching for stuff on microsoft.com , it's usually easier to use google... http://www.google.com/search?q=vb+6+runtimes+site:microsoft.com Smile

Thanks f0dder for the tip didn't know the 'site:' thing. really helpful Wink
Kain that wasn't the site I meant. but it's also good! The one I saw was posted by privalov.

shoorick do you have XP64?

try to download here scroll down to library files.
http://www.ascentive.com/support/new/support_dll.phtml?dllname=COMDLG32.OCX

download. copy it to system32 folder and type

regsvr32 C:\winnt\system32\COMDLG32.OCX

Let me know if you got it to work Wink

Regards,
Kinex
