If you're not aware STI (sony toshiba ibm) released full tech docs on their cell processor. You can go to IBM.com to get them (but they'll make you register before you can get yoru hands on the files).

Thanks R22. This is useful. If anyone is interested, a thread on this topic was started a couple of months back, in HEAP, which, may be a suitable location for this worthy post as well.
