Site functionality is more or less ready. You can submit entries, comment them etc. Please test it, upload some "test" entries, and post comments. They don't have to be real entries, database will be cleared before real contest. I just want to be sure everything works OK Wink

Nice look to the site Smile

And thank you so much for saying "all entries must be assembled with Fasm." Very Happy I'm so sick of people banging on about compiling there assembly language with FASM. Evil or Very Mad

I tried uploading a test entry (ZIP file), it didn't work. Did you disable uploading, or is there an error? I was able to download testos.zip just fine, so that part's OK.

Great look!

Commenting problems should be fixed now. vbVeryBeginner: your file got name "0invalid.zip" when you posted it again. It is to prevent from overwriting files, ie. if two competitors will post "os.zip" file, second one will be renamed to "0os.zip", so it won't overwrite first entry.

Good site !
A suggestion: having the three categories separated in different pages (better when the flood of submissions arive)

A question: Is it possible for the author to add/edit the description after the submission?

1) OK

2) It would require users and passwords. I was thinking about implementing this, but... it would require users to register (more work), and imagine the situation when user A downloaded user's B entry, then user B changed it.... IMO in a contest changing (or updating) entries shouldn't be allowed.
If someone post something wrong by mistake, he can always tell me and I will fix it manually.

when same file name let say. os.zip reach 9os.zip, it would not create 10os.zip for the subsequent submit of same file name.

what if just everyone sends his FINAL version when it's done and after deadline decard uploads them all at the same time? I think it won't be that much work...

New bugs should be fixed now. Thanks for doing such extensive test, last year's site was almost unchecked...

vid: Good idea, even better because it doesn't require too mach changes in website desing.

Not working for me. I get "Cannot Upload File". I'm trying to upload a 52K RAR file with my OS, but it's not letting me.
