Menuet has the ability to use drivers.

Drivers can be loaded like regular processes, since processes can reserve and use I/O ports and IRQ's with system calls. Applications using the device can communicate with the driver with IPC, which is very fast.

There is _no_ need for a second overlapping memory/dll manager.
