'section' used in files of some formats and data about them is stored in the headers - you will need them if you will add support for these formats in your loader.

I'am not using section directive at all. I'am just making 2 plain binary files and then I write these binary files onto floppy with Partcopy.

The thing is that you enable protected mode in the bootsector you posted and yet your kernel is in realmode with BIOS calls..
Fix that.. Wink
