Well I have answered my own question. I was running version 1.57. When I switched to version 1.62 the problem went away.

yes hehe, dup was just implemented. previously we used the 'times' directive for similar uses

hehe ![]() Privalov got tired of the many blaming so he made a DUP? well it was similar to Times btw what does it mean dup? duplicate? newbies, pls read the FASM documentation , Design Principles, or Why fasm Is Different and the faqs:
