Recentyly a friend of mine has sent me following link. It was supposed to be a joke, but I got really nervous, when I had to rebot my computer twice. Firstly of course I thought that something is wrong with my computer, but it crashed many winxps...
I wonder how does it work... some hole in OS maybe? I didn't have SP installed when I tried this.
Click on this link on your own risk, it makes winxp crash.

It made my WinXP SP2 crash, the first WinXP blue screen I've ever seen! Although I didn't get to read it.. then on reboot, Windows asked me to send an error report.

edit: I'm using Mozilla Firefox v.1.0.4, on a laptop.

Blue screen on my computer (XP SP2 also) said me sth like some video driver function ran into infinite loop, and there may be some problems with drivers so I should install newer drivers version (they're already up-to-date). IMHO it's some rendering problems. Firefox firstly renders all page into internal buffer, then draws needed part, and it takes it about 15-20 sec. to fully load page on my PC. IE works in a different manner - it tries to render all data it has at load time, so rendering takes more time. I don't know how exactly rendering works but when I tried to create DC of size more than screen size I've got an error.

works fine on my XP SP2 w/firefox... haven't tested in IE, and don't feel like crashing right now so I won't. I guess it might have something to do with your video drivers, video card memory and main system memory as well; I have a 256meg GeForce6600, 71.89 nvidia drivers, and 1024meg system memory.

Sounds like a driver problem to me, probably not the fault of the windows kernel.

It crashed computers with both my ATI Rage Pro and GeForce 2 MX (second box).
The "crash" actually looked like that mouse and keyboard input was freezed, but for example winamp was still generating sound. After pressing a few keys my computer rebooted.
