Does anyone know any good tutorials? My comp doesn't run 16bit, but I have an emulator.

There are only a few differences between 32bit and 16bit. One of them is the size Very Happy
Try 32-bit tutorials and then translate them in your head to 16-bit Very Happy

you mean interrupts, all these modes, ... Neutral
I really don't know where to find them unless you want to read MenuetOS's 16-bit part of kernel and bootloader Razz

Thanks for this web site. I would second your suggestion to read Kip Irvine's excellent book. I also found the Russian group's several good books to be very useful (e.g. Master guide to Assembly language)
One thing that puzzles me, why do you offer (possibly useful and accurate) criticism of Jeff's book, including a reference to another textbook with an explicit acknowledgement of its superiority, but then provide the Duntemann text anyway??? Embarassed regards, tom
