This one I've found useful. Of course, if you're under DOS with a mouse driver, you just use INT 33h. But for the PS/2, Intellimouse, and other extensions, try this document. Another one that's been especially useful for me is www.Computer-Engineering.org. For the mouse, use this: http://www.computer-engineering.org/ps2mouse/ There is also an article about the PS/2 keyboard protocol too, if you need that. _________________ FASM Rules! OS Dev is fun! Thanks,
But I have many confusion in the protocol. For example, the default is stream mode, I doubt that what time the ps/2 mouse will change the mode to echo mode or reset mode? Is there any utilities can see the ps/2 mouse status or data or others? I feel that ps/2 protocol is hard to read. Have any tools to understand and test the protocol? _________________ I am a tenderfoot, please give me advice more. Thank you! |
