I like the concept. An observations is that it looks like fiat assembler and not flat assembler. Perhaps a different font, of capatilize the word FLAT. Also a more contrasting color for FASM like flouresent yellow or flouresent green?

@flaith,

I like the last you did best of all on the page.

@vid,

Your's is nice, but it implies other things that I would expect to be not acceptable.

@bazik,

Well, it is a bit too busy. Perhaps if it had one scaled down stub of some really cool code that no higher-level compiler could possibly optimize to?

All in all, all, very nice. I only wish I could be as creative. That's probably why I'm being the critic I suspect.

Actually there is official fasm's logo - the ASCII one in DOS documentation (also converted to pure ASCII in Linux one), since a long time ago. Wink
Since fasm is console application I never thought it would need any graphic logo (well, TASM and MASM don't have even an ASCII one, do they?).

agreed ! but for my web page, i needed a logo for my links, i looked at nasm's logo (i really like that one), and thought why don't make one for FASM ?
It's a tribute to FASM because since i use the x86 pc (instead of apple and the assembler 6502/65C816) i stopped ASM, but with FASM, it's a rebirth, so thank you
Wink

Here's my take on a png format version of the logo in the fasm.txt document. (Taken from a screenshot of the DOS edit.com app)

I think the logo in mode 80x50 looks pretty good.
