Why in ver 1.60 not work this example

format elf

section '.text' executable

public _start
_start:

...

Compiler show message "invalid function on "public _start"
btw ... examples added to version 1.60 "elfobj" dont work to !!!!
Help !!!

Why when I compile 'elfobj' example in Windows by fasm.exe
fasm compile is Ok , fasm create '.o' files ...
that same examples defacto for linux 'elfobj' when compile
in linux from fasm show error "illegal instruction" ??
How compile '.asm' file to '.o' in linux console ??
Why version for windows is a difrent for linux in compilation ??
'elfobj' is linux example ,but not work compilation in linux
ony in windows this is absurd ...

It works correctly in my test, please re-download the linux package and try again. If the problem still occurs, please give more details about your system.

I use slax linux distribution runing under Qemu in windows ...
any aplication works good , but fasm write error in this example .
help my ... how i can run fasm on qemu ??? maybe qemu is problem
or slax distro ????
