aaro wrote: How about adding 'Count' button that will tell you how many times word is found in files? hmmm... it could be useful. Or maybe to show (optionally) a window with some statistic of the search (number of results, locations of the matches..) when it's done? aaro wrote: IMO It's better to have only one dialog for find and replace. Add button to toggle find/replace functionality. Well... we live in a standarized world and having two windows seems to be a standard ![]() btw, why didn't you post this in the thread with the pictures of the dialogs? Coutnign words? Sorry, but what is the use of that? I see no use in know how many "mov" I have in my sources, other than for the fun of statistics.

Heh argument about fun and statistics is also very important IMO
![]() ![]() ![]() btw, I've just looked at RadASM and it's find/replace dialog, and I must say I just don't like it... well, it's whole interface isn't perfect IMO (for example because there is too many options in each menu, it complicates RadASM's usage, and it could be done better way) |
