Is the OpenWatcom Linker (WLink.exe) compatible with flat assembler? And if it is where are the documents explaining the different command line options?

DarkOne, iirc Watcom handles win32 COFF object files just fine - so it should work just OK with watcom.

If I remember well, wlink is difficult to use because of it's complex command line switch system.

difficult to use because of commandline switches? Learn once, use many times Smile. The thing that took most time setting up was the linker script, but again - set it up once, and it'll work like a charm. WL is pretty powerful.
