Hi
I recently wrote a DLL using FASM v1.56. It works generally, but on someone's system, the message:
Windows won't ATYPEX.DLL because it is "not a valid Windows image."

is posted upon loading the DLL.

The only particularities about this DLL are that the "export" section is empty. Any ideas on what may be the problem (or is it just that)?

also, the problem is only apparent in Windows XP Professional for some reason, and it happened with two different DLLs I programmed with Fasm 1.56.

any ideas? I'd be grateful for any info.

Well, I'm on XP and my executables don't work if I have an empty section, so try taking it out.

yeah, that pretty much did it (though I put entries in the section instead of deleting it).

thanks for the reply.
