In a UK magazine "PC Extreme" i read a article call OS supertest, in the article MenuetOS users are call hard-core GEEKS Laughing.
Heres what it says:
Quote:

The technically curious might want to look in to MenuetOS, Rather worryingly, it describes itself as "The Assembly Language Programmers OS [sic]" In other words, it's for people who are so geeky that they don't even program in, well, programming languages, but prefer instead to work directly with the processor. Good luck to them, we say, but the efforts of the people behind MenuetOS have resulted in a good looking GUI-lead OS that offers a lot for the kind of people who know things like Unix/Linux commands.

cool that menuet is being recognised Laughing
the last sentence makes little sense though, what is the relevance of unix/linux commands to menuetos?.. it doesnt even have a CLI (although theres one being developed i believe?)

strange people Smile

I agree with bogdanontanu, if using MenuetOS is for hard-core geeks, then what is making your own OS in assembly, maybe its for " Double hard-core geeks" Laughing.

PS: The "hard-core geeks" part is in this part of the article.

List of OS in the article:
BeOS
best for: Those scared of partitioning
BSD
best for: Networking/Servers
SkyOS
best for:Those looking for somthing completely different
Syllable
best for: Developers/hobbyists
Linux
best for: Anyone
ReactOS
best for: Developers/hobbyists
FreeDOS
best for: Anyone
QNX
best for: Geeks
Menuet
best for: Hard-core geeks
NewOS
best for: Curious geeks

Also worth a comment

BOS
best for:Double hard-core geeks
DEX
best for:Double hard-core geeks
SolarOS
best for:Double hard-core geeks

PS: The last three are only a joke Laughing.
