Hi damnation,
Damnation wrote: i have this book well "second edition" The examples were in C mostly, I converted the code to assembly, which sometimes wasn't so easy Quote: also have u converted all the source or is it just the assembly if so i gather that it starts from chapter #17. I've done all the examples from chapter 5 to chapter 17. Quote: just wondering because i am learning assembly and i want some sort of guidance. and well in the future i want to end up being able to code games and graphics etc. I thought this would be the best path. You'll need these two files: FASMWIN - Windows-DirectX examples Jul-15-05.rar (This file contains the fasm compiler, and all the includes necessary to compile the exampes) WINDOW GAME PROGRAMMING FOR DUMMIES - ANDRE LAMOTHE Jul-15-05.rar (This file contains the converted examples, chapter 5 - chapter 17, all updated to run on fasm 1.62, simply drop the whole folder into fasm compiler package above, and you should be ready to go.) If you have any more questions, let me know MadMatt |
