Hi, all.
These days one idea come to me: Very simple and small library, that can provide OS independent creating of GUI interface elements and to initialize them with begin values - images and text for buttons but also items in tree-view controls or every information that the programmer usually insert in the control using some code.

The intention of this library is to replace the present library used in Fresh for visual editing of the forms and controls.

The core components and interfaces of the library are OS independent. Only small component libraryes are OS-dependent so this can improve portability of the projects created with Fresh and to allow using of visual editors for other than Windows OSes.

Download simlpe project with drafts of this library: StreamComponents.zip [edit]the link is obsolete now. See below in the thread[/edit]

Please, evaluate the sources and readme.txt file and write here your opinions and suggestions.

Regards.

New version with new name uploaded here: StreamGUI

Now, menus and toolbars are created and initialized only from the template data stream.

The readme.txt file was uploaded here: Wiki StreamGui and everyone can edit it in order to make fixes and additions. This file will be some kind of guidance in creating this engine.

Regards.
