Hi all,

I have made a bootable CD with SolOS
I boots so fast Smile

However i use Nero and aparently it is unable to create an ISO image out of this CD? Nero creates an .NRG file and that is not .ISO

Do you guys know any free application that can generate an ISO image from a CD on windows?

Recent versions of nero should be able to make a .iso image as well?

For a good shareware application, check out UltraISO - it's a pretty useful ISO tool.

Perhaps take a look at http://www.deepburner.com/?r=products&pr=provsfree ?

A NRG is a CD Image with 300*1024 bytes pre-appended.

An ISO is a CD Image of a ISO9660 file system.

eet, anything special in those 300*1024 bytes, and is the structure wellknown? I've seen non-nero tools handle it, and I wonder if they use the extra info, or simply skip it and use as iso?
