Hello! I've always wanted to write my own text editor and I found the MINIPAD example to be very helpful.

Although, I am EXTREMELY new to assembly and FASM and I was wondering if anyone made any of these edits to MINIPAD and could tell me how...

Also, could someone PLEASE help me out with this:

I want to make the text editor like the FASM IDE. I want it to have tabs at the bottom that allow more than one file open in the window. However, I haven't been able to find the function in the FASM source. And even if I did, I'm pretty sure i couldn't implement it by myself.

I would really appreciate it if you could help me.

Thanks!

Yeah, you may look at my 'text editor template' Smile

But all of this editors are SDI (Single Document Interface) and you want make MDI (Mutiple Document Interface). It's something different in implementation but not so hard. There are many other such exams on the net. You can look for and understand sources and make your own. It's really interesting to make it for education! Smile

Good luck!
