hello. this is my next problem, i hope you can help me with:

whenever i'm swapping a page from the execute-area into memory, there is a problem. the swapping is automatically called by the taskswitcher (dispatcher&scheduler). and whenever my routine tries to copy the part with the stack of the task, it doesn't run. the OS hangs of, and the floppy-drive is running all the time. i'm in FRM. i hope you can help me. thank you!

JN!

i tested it again, and this is what i found out:
the copying always stops at the stack. if i set the stack out of the area, it works fine. but with the stack in it it doesn't.

now it works, it was, because the mapper deleted his returnadress by copying the new map into the part with the stack!

i'm learning English! but i don't understand, what he means! i think there's a joke or something behind and i don't understand! what should that mean? "people think coders are introverts"? if i understand introverts right, he'd like to say, that some people mean, that coders don't write very much and don't discuss very much and don't speak very much, but always think an be quiet...

It means that coders usually prefer to be alone and have poor social skills
And before his post you have been talking here alone... so he uses the word "introvert" ...yes you are right it is a subtle joke ...

Hallo joachim_neu!
