Hi.

Does anyone have or knows about an open source code for register allocation

which is based on graph colouring. I don`t want to take it from big compilers

like GCC or open64 (its gpl).

Thanks in advance.

Register allocation in a compiler depends on the CPU being targetted, the language, and the level of optimizations you want to reach. I'm not aware of a generalized register-allocation scheme.

Hi

I would make the chages that i need for my cpu. What i need is an

implentation of register allocation (implemented by graph colouring) so i

would change it for my needs, and this is instead of starting from the

begining implenting register allocation, which isn`t so easy.

Thanks in advance.
