most of the time,
when we don't have something/somebody,
we feel like, we desire very much of having it.
eg. like willing to do anything just to possess it.

but, when after we possessed,
we feel like... nothing..

does this happen to everybody? or me only?

life is life.
lala lalala.
li li lilililife
la la lalala

basically, life is only evolution in order to survive.
but why does we need to be alive?
nobody knows.
or maybe the universe was created to be alive.
is it possible the stars to be a sort of life form too?

It's "li ii iiiiife", not "li li lilililife" Razz

I love when people hear tautology and consider it to be some "deeper" truth or whatever.

How can you "understand" such people if you don't even care to understand what they are talking about (i.e "understanding" the "purpose" of life). Wink

I don't know if the purpose is responsibility, but for me, "enjoying" life sounds too much like an illusion -- because you know that, in your deathbed, everything will seem like it passed in 5 seconds. Shouldn't you rather take care of responsibilities you want to assign yourself by that stage? Time is illusion after all.

everything is illusion,
i think, the idea/memories that we now, currently hold at this point of time only is real, (the current, now) the conscious us, only this is real.

like when i type now, now is real, what i am thinking right now in my mind.

after it changes. like several (unit of time measure past, eg. min, miliseconds) they are not real anymore.

yeah, even photos, u cant get the same feeling anymore, perhaps it could helps to recall a bit, but it just not so real. even video.

so, what real is what we hold at this point of moment.
this is what i understood so far.

i too hope if i could change my mind and accept that we come to enjoy only.
but reality is, i will die. and i saw lot of people dead already and i for god sake know that one day, i will somehow die.

i could have lots of fun, but the more i got, the less i could get anymore. a bit strange but so real.

i keep on searching,
it seems. "nothing" is the answer.
there is no point in everything, and "so what" is the answer to everything.

Quote:

idk how i gonna face it when the time reach and i gonna breath my last breath. i hope i could take consciousness away with me after i die.

in my past experiences with conscious dreams, it is like 50/50 percent, sometime i conscious, sometime not.

maybe i should get a job in hospital and see how people face their death. would be usefull references for myself later.

even if i could possess the whole world, become God-like creatures/human, no need to die, live forever...

so what?

is there a point in doing anything??

or better, i just spend my rest 50 years time to just sleep, eat, drink, reading books, writing blog.... simply enjoying myself for the rest of life with my hobbies, interests, mind poddling.?

Sounds like a good idea to me. Nothing wrong with enjoying yourself. Better than torturing yourself wondering about things that cannot be answered.

+1

life is too short to suffer about it!

instead of wondering why do we need to make love, just make love and enjoy it.

Sometimes it is a waste of time. Sadly, only later on you realize it.

What better use do you have for time other than enjoying yourself?

To fulfill your goals, your responsibilities, accomplish your dreams... maybe fight for what you believe in or stand up for. Or to have something that you will leave behind?

So many reasons.

I think this easily is answered by asking the question (from the Matrix):

Would you take the red pill or the blue pill?

I believe in, and stand up for, maximal personal enjoyment, so maximising my enjoyment fulfils that requirement.

Leave behind? Nah, I will be dead. Once I am dead I won't care (and won't be able to care) about anything.

but others will. Wink

I take it, you would choose the blue pill then?
I wouldn't. Not even consider it for 1 millisecond.

I just think that the life is as much simple as you want it or as much complicated as you believe it.

I mean you can complicate yourself believing in movies like they were the only truth, believing in pills (red, green, blue, white, dark ones...), or just making your own roolz, doing your own style of living.

There's nothing special about the pills being "pills", it's just a philosophical answer to a question:

would you rather live in a pleasant but not true world, or a painful but true world?

In other words, do you want to make a difference to the world, or be ignorant but blissful?

If i am not wrong, you are trying to depict persons living in bubbles, right?

but what is pleasant and what painful?

It's just a matter of point of view.
