I recall that a GLOBAL directive (or something similar) was added a while back, but there is no mention of it in the documentation (other than a macro to simulate it). This facility was added, right? In any case, if so, the manual should be updated. I've also noticed that there aren't a lot of directives in the manual. A quick once-over to verify that all directives have been documented might be in order.
Cheers,

All the existing directives are documented. Recently I have done some small updates to documentation to make sure that all existing features (not counting the tricks, which are anyway usually based on documented features) are documented.

The GLOBAL is implemented as a macro and all directives that are used to implement it are documented. The GLOBAL macro itself is mentioned in FAQ, fifth question.

Privalov, might be a good idea to add a "tricks" section to the manual? At least once things are fairly stabilized, wouldn't be nice to have ever-changing information in the manual Smile

Hmm...
Okay then, my mistake. I'd thought that this had been added to FASM.

What would recommend for GLOBAL variables? E.g., the following doesn't work:
Code:
global somevar:byte
