I have two USB drives (one FAT32, the other NTFS). I also have a 500GB hard drive (primary NTFS partition, extended FAT32).
Why are none of these drives visible in MenuetOS? I only have FD (boot floppy disk). All these drives are visible in KolibriOS.

My second question. Ville, could you refine/extend system function #58 (read/write to file) so that you can specify the number of bytes for this operation instead of 512 blocks?

Thanks for your attention.

Menuet has support for Fat32-formatted usb storages. You could try connecting only the fat32-drive or connecting to different ports. And I'll see what I can do about the syscall 58.

I have this message: USB 2.0 State: Failed(04)
What does code "04" mean?

It means that BIOS still has ownership of the USB controller. Did you also set usb_legacy_disable to 1 in config.mnt ?

Currently Menuet waits five seconds for the ownership change. I'll add a manually definable wait-time (> 5 sec) to the next release.
