My variant. But maybe this not best solution.

                if .ll+.ll2 > (3+.ll2+1)

                end if

                }
;create matrix
1.0,0,0,0
0,1.0,0,0
0,0,1.0,0
0,0,0,1.0
    

This method good for big data. For 2d level or matrix32x32

All macros start in forward mode. So your rept block initialises .ll and .ll2 16 times.

                forward  ;  <--- this is implicit at the start of rept (and all macros)
