Some work has been done in this direction on older processors - I know of nothing modern though.

@bitRAKE thanks, will take a look. As for older processors, my newest one is around 8 years old now. Laughing

Edit: Interesting with the secret RW opcodes, no MSR 0x1e6 here on Gen 5, maybe something exists but seems like it might be a lot of work to find.

Since, I hope, all of us remember the first messages about Meltdown and Spectre claiming AMD’s processors are not affected while Intel’s ones are affected since 1995, it’s not surprising AMD has equally serious problems. The thief’s hat is on fire.
