Hello there!

I am trying to tune MCedit syntax highlighting. Currently I want the labels to be brightmagenta for example. I added this line

keyword wholeleft *: brightmagenta

And when there is line like

proc Function param1:dword

Everything before ":" and including ":" itself turn out to be brightmagenta which is not what I want. I want only "param1:" to be brightmagenta. How I can implement this?

I know that question is silly but original manual is not very clear.

wholeleft - whole left. Don't use this one, use another directive.

After another couple of hours googling I've found the solution. Documentation is really poor

keyword \[ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz_\]: brightmagenta

I don't understand how one is supposed to get what \[\] symbols do.

I have now another trouble. Once again I'm using mcedit and I want
jmp label
Thus I want only label to be highlighted. Is it possible to implement?

I found the way to implement this
Code:
context exclusive j\[mplezcn\]\t \n brightmagenta
keyword wholeright ;* brown
