Another patent-shit is a feature also used by the FasmIDE:

if you think this is a fun patent check out the MS patent on the Human body. the basics of the patent is that MS has patented the use of the Human body as a network device, so anyone builds a device in which the human body is like a network or part of a network they owe MS some $$$ lol |

I hope this patent nonsense stops before getting nastier...
or that negative consequences of software patents incides only in those countries that are enforcing them. For example, if you are a small innovative company inside U.S. you will be paying hard $$$ to majors in order to sell your product (hardware/software) so you will be having troubles to compete for example to an equivalent company in China or in India. So figure out which one is likely to succeed? |
