Stream I receive from audio device is not aligned to 16. Can I force it to be aligned somehow?

Who owns the stream? Driver? Might need to add a check and handle partial data (if you have no control of buffer), then switch to performance loop, then handle partial tail?

I asking for some simple option like an Interface or the Key for that. Maybe some options via PROPVARIANT etc. I think about profit of partial reading but all registers are busy already and package size is not that big enough to lose the time for measuring its separate parts.
