Hi
How to remove volume control for specific audio device? I use one device for loopback and another for rendering stream. Both volume controls present. Hot keys react for loopback one. I wish to remove it and control rendering device only.

How are the sound devices being added to the system? Did you write a driver of sorts?

Windows designates one of the output audio devices as the default, and I presume this is the device which the various hotkeys (volume up/down, mute) operate on. If you cannot figure out how to remove a device from being subject to the shell's volume control applet, then you might consider looking into how to make a particular device the default (in your case, marking the 'rendering device' as the default).

That is the question I asking for.
Actually I pass by this issue by doublicating Volume values from one device to an other. It still shows two devices but works as one control.
