My latest understanding is that video support in DOS ended with VESA.
Which would make this the latest support?

Are people creating more modern drivers for specific video cards?

Linux has some reverse engineering of video cards on-going, but I don't recall that being back-ported to DOS in any way.

It might be a big challenge since modern video modes require accessing large amounts of memory if one wants to use good-old VGA-like drawing.
