well... I was thinking about making it on September - a year after previous one. Let's make it annual Very Happy And I wouldn't have enough time to run it, because I have some other projects and I have my final exams in May. But I would really like to organize it - I'm thinking of much better website... So let's wait a few months, ok? Smile

raw write it into a floppy disk and select from bios to boot from floppy disk. thats all. if u got vmware, (which is available beta 5.5 from www.vmware.com) just set the vmware floppy drive to use floppy image, select the file and thats it.

the 512 bytes OS is a boot(able) sector but u need to rawwrite it into floppy disk, if u use windows to copy and paste into floppy disk, the nanoos.bin wouldn't be put in the floppy disk first sector, thats why u need the raw write tools or fdimage utilities.

I'm interested too, despite I won't be able to make an interesting contribution, I still think
this is a great (and fun) contest.

Is there a possibility to get back the previous contributions? my link to the old .512 website
is dead...
