Has anybody ever written an assembler for the 8051 that runs under Menuet OS? What about any other 8-bit or 16-bit micro-controller processor?
If not, I may take a stab at an 8051 assembler --- this is much less ambitious than Safety Forth as a first project --- this can also be open-source, because I won't be doing anything creative.
