My thoughts about this.

USB 4.0 speed 4 Gig/second. USB 5.0 may be support 16 Gig/second

This open road USB devices. USB VideoCards\CPUs etc.

User no need buy new motherboard or cpu.
User only buy USB devices.

Or user might create owner USB device.

AMD sel CPU Ryzen 3 3100 100$

USB 6.0 will be the final version. It will be plugged directly into our brain interfaces and will connect each and every one of us to the master AI. Only then will it have fulfilled its purpose of being universal.

The final version is going to be USB 10 which might be presented after USB 8.1. We’ll then see USB 78.0 a few months later.

After USB 10 comes USB 95. Then USB 98. An finally USB 2000.

The version that plugs directly into your brain is USB Me.

Speaking of USB, is there a way to connect two PCs with something faster than Ethernet? Since USB4 will have Thunderbolt-like speeds, it should be plenty even to stream raw uncompressed video from one PC to another. (Ethernet has not enough bandwidth)

The reason for raw is to absolutely minimize latency here, not visual quality, I don't really care about the latter.
