Hello,
I am thinking of relaunching an open source compiler called Visia Compiler. It is written in Visual Basic 6. I wrote it years ago and the last version was 4.8.7.1. You can find it on Sourceforge. Some one uploaded it to there. The newest version 5 is attached. I renewed the IDE and Code Editor. Still needs some time and code. Anyway, I am looking for people who may have the experience and want to contribute to this project and make it a RAD Programming language. With COM Support. Windows Forms. etc. So if anyone is interested just contact me here or email: kinex@gmx.net

Any chance you might have source to this attached version? I believe it was more of a BASIC variant language.

Yes, I also have this source code with the Basic syntax and features. It will go into this direction with the Basic syntax, espacially when doing all the Forms and COM programming. But it's more complex source code so i decided to post the "simple" one so that someone can get a quick overview over the whole compiler in its "simple" stage. I will release the source code with BASIC with the new IDE soon.

Hi Kinex,

I tried the Visia Compiler several years ago. I think that was Linley Compiler at the time (maybe I remember it wrong, it's been a long time). Anyway, i'm glad to hear your news.
