I plan to make a special stream on March 23rd. This is going to be 20th anniversary of when I started writing the first version of fasm. The official 20th anniversary of fasm is going to next year (the first public release was on June 19th, 2000), but this little "private" anniversary seems like a great opportunity to make a live event, perhaps some Q&A? Or just playing with fasm, DOS, etc.
I believe I can reserve the entire day for this purpose, so I could try a few different hours to adapt to different time zones of people that might want to join. If you're interested, please let me know! |

Due to my various constraints I was not able to organize anything larger, so I have settled on showing just a few little bits of fasm's initial (private) versions and recorded it for YouTube:

I'm doing some tests and a warm-up today, to find out if I am able to resume streaming. I have not been announcing this earlier, as this is just preliminary.

After doing some live tests this morning I have recorded a very basic tutorial on setting up fasm:
https://youtu.be/HCfwIG8ZzI0 I'm ready to start streaming again regularly. Please let me know what things you would like to see! ![]() I would stream around 09:00 UTC, as usual. |

Another set-up guide, this time for fasmg:

A second video in the fasmg series, showcasing the 8051 example that comes with the core package:
https://youtu.be/NEN1yRUZj5I I like this format, so I'm probably going to record more short demonstrations of this kind. Perhaps some simple macro writing, too. |

Currently I don't do live streams, it was hard to find a good window when the people could come to watch.
Therefore I started simply recording off-line, this also allows me to make shorter and more focused guides/tutorials. I got a very positive feedback, so I'm most likely going to continue recording them. |

The video guides turned up quite well, but I feel like doing something more relaxed, like another live session just playing with some silly things. Perhaps I could try showing some old examples, like "kelvar", that are really quite hard to get running.
Would any of you be interested? |

The recording of today's stream is up:
https://youtu.be/2K8mpX_kWN0 There was a suggestion that I should link to this video next to where kelvar.zip is in the examples section. This might be a good idea! |
